ABOUT
Lawrence Smith received a Nevada Artist Fellowship Honorable Mention Award. He has appeared on ABC Television and National Public Radio. He performs as a solo artist, in ensembles, and in symphony performances and concertos. Lawrence has performed in master classes for many of the world's leading leading classical guitarists including Roland Dyens, Victor Villadangos, and Marc Teicholz.

Lawrence received an M.M. in Music from Butler University and advanced studies at Indiana University. For twenty years he was publisher and editor of an academic press lauded by awards such as the Choice Outstanding Academic Book Award. He is also an award winning published poet. Lawrence founded the Sierra Nevada Guitar Festival Lawrence performs on a Kenny Hill New Century classical guitar.
